Technical Account Manager - Chinese manufacturing partners

In this international role, you will support manufacturing partners in China, combining technical knowledge with strong communication and relationship-building skills. You will travel regularly to China, work with international partners, and become part of a close-knit team in Lelystad. The role offers a salary up to €4,700 gross per month, flexible working hours, and hybrid working opportunities.
Fluent Mandarin Chinese, English and Dutch (B1/B2) are essential for this role.

• A gross monthly salary between €3,200 and €4,700, based on a 40-hour work week and depending on your experience and qualifications.

Our client works closely with manufacturing partners in China. In this role, you will be the technical point of contact, supporting partners with the successful integration of innovative solutions into their products.
While you will work with technical products, this role is primarily about communication, collaboration, and relationship management. A strong affinity with technology and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly are more important than an extensive engineering background. Your responsibilities include:

• Training and supporting manufacturing partners in the correct integration of our client's solutions.
• Providing on-site technical support during regular visits to factories in China.
• Reviewing product designs using CAD drawings.
• Supporting technical communication between Chinese manufacturing partners and internal teams, including Sales and Marketing.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives using LEAN methodologies.

• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required. Candidates should also have Dutch proficiency at a minimum B1/B2 level to effectively participate in internal meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
• A strong interest in technology and the ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable way. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; you easily build relationships with others. 
• Willingness to travel regularly to China (approximately 25% of your time).
